Our staff are qualified, fun, passionate, and fully certified: criminal record checks, First Aid/CPR, Food Safety, and School-Age Child Care Provider certification.

After School
We strive to provide the highest quality after-school care available by ensuring the children have a fun and engaging time with friends while exploring a variety of activities and opportunities after school each day.
Before School
Send your kids to KidHub where we offer a relaxed environment for them to enjoy those early hours before school opens. Children can choose from a variety of free-play activities based on their interests.
Day Camps
We also offer full-day care on PD days, storm days and other school closures. Ask us how to sign up for a fun-filled day away from school!
Spring Break Camp
We offer a fun-filled week for your children so they can make the most out of their break from school! Each day of the camp we have an exciting theme packed with activities, free time with friends & lots of time outdoors!
Summer Camp
We are pleased to offer child care during your child's vacation from school! We strive to make each day at KidHub over the summer a fun, safe, and relaxed experience for your child.

What We Believe
At KidHub, we take pride in creating a space where every child can thrive. Our high expectations for respectful, kind behaviour set the tone for a positive and safe environment where kids feel supported and excited to grow, and parents have peace of mind.
We believe great childcare starts with trust and respect. That means offering daily planned activities alongside free play zones shaped by the interests of the kids currently attending. We always encourage participation but never force it, so every child can engage at their own pace, in their own way.
We're also committed to helping every child build confidence and self-worth in a warm and welcoming environment, one that brings out the best in them. Through leadership opportunities, community connections, and a program that genuinely listens to kids, we encourage children to take ownership of their experience by developing independence, creativity, teamwork, personal responsibility, and problem-solving skills along the way.
About the Owners
Who We Are
Rachel & Luke Docksteader were both raised in beautiful Prince Edward Island. Both being driven & business-minded individuals, they decided to combine Rachel's passion for working with elementary school-aged children and Luke's years of training and experience in software engineering to form an exciting school-age program that uses the most up-to-date technology — and KidHub was born in August 2015!
Rachel has a Bachelor of Education (UNB) and a Bachelor of Arts with a double-major in History and Psychology (UPEI). Luke has a Masters of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering (Lakehead University) as well as a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics Engineering Technology (RCC Institute of Technology).
Rachel & Luke have three amazing children and love spending their time going on family outings, playing board games with friends and family, and spending as much time on the beach in the summer as possible!
